Bad Connector, Multiple DTCs

This bulletin applies to 2010-2017 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. Some customers may comment on seeing any one of the following conditions on the driver display: SES Mil, Service ABS, Service Traction Control, Service AWD, Service Suspension Control or Service Power Steering.

This bulletin applies to 2010-2017 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. Some customers may comment on seeing any one of the following conditions on the driver display: SES Mil, Service ABS, Service Traction Control, Service AWD, Service Suspension Control or Service Power Steering.

The technician may find any of the following DTCs stored: C0196, C0186, C0287, C0710, C0045, C0050, C0800, U0073, U0077, U0074, U0125, U0126, U0100, U0101, U0121, U0415, U0432, U0121 and/or U0140.

These concerns may be caused by corrosion in the X411 connector located under the rear of the vehicle, behind and to the left of the fuel tank.
