Chevy Corvette May Have Broken Valve Spring
This bulletin applies to 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette models equipped with a 6.2L LT1/LT4/LT5 engine.
The SES lamp may be on and DTC P0106 and P0506 may be found stored. The engine may have a broken valve spring.
Inspect valve springs and replace any that are broken, as long as a valve(s) has not dropped and caused block or piston damage.
If a broken spring is found, be sure to inspect the intake manifold for a possible collapsed runner.
