Porsche Reports Grease Was Incorrectly Labeled
Some driveshaft grease for Porsche 924/944/968/911 applications was incorrectly packaged and labeled.
If the mis-labeled grease is used, this will result in insufficient drive shaft lubrication. Under P/N 000.043.110.01, the grease tube was incorrectly labeled. Only use the graphite-colored grease.
INCORRECT GREASE TUBE:
Tube color...........white
Label color on tube.... black-red-green
Label name........ grease
Contents.......... copper-colored grease
CORRECT GREASE TUBE:
Tube color............. white
Color of label on tube............ not labelled
Label name............. grease for drive shaft
Contents............ graphite-colored grease
