Ford Truck Needs PCM Reprogram

Some 2017-2019 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, built Oct. 1, 2017, through Jan. 9, 2019, may exhibit an intermittent low oil pressure warning indicator when the oil level is within correct operating range. 

Some 2017-2019 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, built Oct. 1, 2017, through Jan. 9, 2019, may exhibit an intermittent low oil pressure warning indicator when the oil level is within correct operating range. 

This may be due to various strategies within the PCM software. 

To correct the condition, reprogram the PCM  using the latest available software version.
