This bulletin applies to 2009-later Porsche Cayenne Diesel vehicles. When performing manual regeneration of the diesel particle filter using PIWIS Tester II, always remember that regeneration may only be performed up to twice in quick succession.

Manual regeneration cannot be performed more than twice to avoid the risk of damage to the diesel particle filter and adjacent components due to thermal overload. Only perform manual regeneration using PIWIS Tester II when the exhaust system has cooled to ambient temperature.

If the required emission values are not achieved after performing manual regeneration twice, allow the vehicle exhaust system to cool down to ambient temperature, then perform up to two new manual regenerations.
