This plasma cutter is able to cut all metals. It can cleanly cut up to 1/2” thick mild steel and stainless steel, and up to 3/16” thick aluminum.

Application 

The Forney Industries 40 P Plasma Cutter, No. 440, is able to cut mild steel and stainless steel metal up to 1/2” and up to 3/16” thick aluminum. This machine can be used for light industrial, automotive, and farm/home, as well as maintenance and repair applications.

  • A 20' plasma torch and 15' input cable create a larger working envelope.
  • Simple intuitive controls take the complexity out of the setup.
  • Much faster than using mechanical saws or cutting discs.
  • No need for oxygen or acetylene, as it uses clean compressed air.
  • Has integrated fault codes for easy troubleshooting if needed.

  • Rubber mat on top to hold tools or consumables
