Register today for the 16th Annual ASE Instructor Training Conference, scheduled for July 20-23, 2026, at the Embassy Suites hotel in Frisco, Texas. The conference features more than 20 hours of technical update training with separate tracks for automotive, truck, and collision repair instructors.

The event opens Monday, July 20, with a welcome reception followed by three full days of technical training through Thursday, July 23. The conference represents the largest automotive instructor training event in the nation, bringing together educators to stay current with industry developments and connect with peers across the profession.

Featured session topics include:

Data Communications Operations and Diagnosis (GM/ACDelco): This session focuses on data network communication and strategies to diagnose communication failures. Topics include network configurations, serial data gateway module operation, terminating resistors and their purpose, symptoms of network faults, and strategies to diagnose communication failures for a variety of network types.

AI in Collision Repair: Clarity, Not Complexity (CCC Intelligent Solutions): Artificial intelligence is no longer a future concept in collision repair. In this session, CCC demystifies AI by separating real capability from industry buzz and by showing how AI is being applied today within CCC ONE. Attendees will leave with clarity for their students on where AI is already delivering value today, how CCC is approaching AI within CCC ONE, and what the next evolution of intelligent assistance in collision repair may look like.

Smart Trucks, Smarter Systems: Understanding Modern Electronic Controls (TAG Truck Center): Today’s heavy-duty trucks are more connected and electronically controlled than ever before. This session takes a deep dive into how modern systems communicate across the vehicle network, focusing on critical components like braking, air management, and key electronic controllers.
