Nightstick launches latest rechargeable headlamp
Nigthstick has announced the launch of the XPR-5552G, a USB-C rechargeable headlamp certified ATEX Zone 0 and Class I Division 1 Intrinsically Safe for use in the most hazardous work environments. Building on the trusted performance and popularity of the low-profile USB-4510 headlamp, the XPR-5552G adds full global safety certifications in a familiar, compact form.
The XPR-5552G features tri-color floodlight output (white, red, and green) with intuitive dual-switch controls. The right switch activates high and low white modes and can be held in any mode for a flashing white signal. The left switch toggles red or green. Red helps preserve night vision during low-light tasks, while green enhances contrast and detail. The headlamp runs 200 lm for up to 8 hours on high and 60 lm for 40 hours on low, delivering long-lasting visibility across shift work and confined spaces.
This light is built from durable PC/ABS polymer and is IP-67 rated for waterproof and dustproof protection. Additionally, it includes Battery Safe Mode to prevent accidental activation during storage or travel. A translucent switch cover reveals a red-to-green charge indicator for at-a-glance battery status. Users can charge the built-in lithium-ion battery via the included USB-C cable or any standard USB-C connection.
The light includes a 3M dual-lock adhesive pad for mounting directly to most flat surface hardhats.
