If you work on air conditioning systems, then you should have an EPA Section 609 certification card in your pocket.

And odds are you got that certification from MACS.

Today, MACS has a new name - the Mobile Air Climate Systems Association - but the same focus and there’s no better way to experience what MACS has to offer than attend their annual training event and trade show.

This year, the event returns to the Rosen Center Hotel and Convention Center in Mickey’s backyard, Orlando Florida. The fun begins on September 30th and the event runs through October 1st.

In addition to a trade show featuring every segment of the mobile climate control industry, MACS will also be hosting top trainers from across the aftermarket over the three-day event, with a variety of management and technical topics to choose from including my session, "To Catch A Thief - Electrical Testing Techniques That Work!"

If you’re a golfer, make plans to arrive early and participate in the annual MACS golf tournament held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Course. And you won’t want to miss Thursday’s Keynote speaker, Charles Sanville - better known to his YouTube fans as "The Humble Mechanic".
