Final numbers are in for the 2018 LATIN AUTO PARTS EXPO and, with its fifth edition, organizers of the July event are pleased with the strategic positioning and overall engagement of the auto parts industry in Latin America.

More than 300 international manufacturers and distributors of auto parts exhibited July 25-27 at the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama City. Organizers were pleased to welcome more than 2,500 qualified buyers at this year’s trade show.

Exhibitors presented a wide range of automotive parts, including auto accessories, components, maintenance parts, auto body parts, tools, chemical products, lubricants, car care offerings, diagnostic equipment, car paint and many other products. Renowned companies from the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America participated in the show.

"I would like to thank the professional Latin Expo Group for coordinating and hosting a very successful show,” Max Douglas, Berryman Products, USA. “My experience and take-away impression was that it was very professionally executed and the needs of the vendors around me were all met timely and satisfied with the results. The show buyer turnout was great. I was personally pleased with the results and leads accumulated for my after-show follow-up. This show filled a niche for my distribution into the Latin American countries.”

Buyers from Latin America were satisfied with the quality of the commercial opportunities that the exhibition offered them in Panama.

"We had a very good experience for what we were looking for,” said Maria Diaz, Lubrirepuestos JC, Guatemala. “Our business focus is automotive filters, so we look forward to having very good business relationships with the people we visited at the show."

The Educational Conferences were presented by industry leaders in the automotive industry, including keynote speaker Michael Dunne, CEO, Dunne Automotive Ltd., Hong Kong, and an expert on electric and autonomous vehicles. Dunne discussed how China's global ambitions are unleashing commotion in the automotive technology industry with rapid change worldwide.
