The annual Global Reception, presented by the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) on Oct. 31, drew record attendance at its 2017 AAPEX event in Madame Tussauds at The Venetian.

Attendees enjoyed international networking and “appearances” by notable celebrities, athletes and legends at the event venue. Reception participants took photographs with lifelike figures of top celebrities during the evening of global aftermarket comradery.

“OAC is dedicated throughout the year to facilitating networking with top-level international and domestic business people active in the export market, and we are pleased to add the additional ‘star power’ at this year’s AAPEX event,” said Ben Brucato, AASA director of membership and executive director of the OAC. “The 2017 OAC Global Reception is just one example of our activities, and it certainly lived up to our tradition as one of the best global networking events during AAPEX,” he added.
