Automotive Parts Associates elects new members to board of directors

APA members elected Jim Holmquist and Lloyd Shochat as new board members. Holmquist is president of H & H Wholesale Parts located in Arleta, Calif. Shochat is owner of Quick Auto Parts in Dix Hills, N.Y.

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) announced the results of its 2016 election for the Board of Directors and its 2016 officers. The elections were held at APA’s 35th Annual Conference March 10 in Orlando.

APA members elected Jim Holmquist and Lloyd Shochat as new board members. Holmquist is president of H & H Wholesale Parts located in Arleta, Calif. Shochat is owner of Quick Auto Parts in Dix Hills, N.Y.

The 2015 officers were selected and confirmed by the Board of Directors. Ben Yelowitz, POJA Warehouse L.P., will continue to serve as Chairman; Mike Maloof, World Auto Parts, will serve as Vice-Chairman; Doug Squires, CPA, CMA BestBuy Distributors Ltd., will continue to serve as Treasurer; and Randall Swedlove, Morris Automotive Supply, will continue to serve as Secretary.

“We appreciate the fine leadership these individuals bring to APA and we’re looking forward to continued progress this year,” said Gary Martin, President and CEO of APA.

Other active APA board members include Jeff Levine, Levine Auto + Truck Parts in Danbury, Conn.; Joseph Koudsi, International Metric Specialists, North Hollywood, Calif.; and Rob Jacobs, Automotive Warehouse Co., Wichita, Kan.
