he AAE epsTECH is an innovative, portable testing tool for diagnostic analysis of Electronic Power Steering Systems, including Electronic Power Steering (EPS) racks, steering columns, and Electronic Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) pumps.

Atlantic Automotive Engineering (AAE) offers its new AAE epsTECH™ Diagnostic Tester for Electronic Power Steering System Analysis. The AAE epsTECH is an innovative, portable testing tool for diagnostic analysis of Electronic Power Steering Systems, including Electronic Power Steering (EPS) racks, steering columns, and Electronic Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) pumps. When used in combination with an OBDII diagnostic reader, it functions as a portable vehicle simulation tester.

The new tester is supported by Atlantic Automotive Engineering (AAE), a steering systems manufacturer specializing in new and remanufactured steering racks, power steering pumps, gearboxes, and related electric steering components.

AAE epsTECH can be used to perform critical vehicle simulation testing to determine communication error codes, torque sensor responses, voltage, and amperage regulations, as well as position centering calibration. With the assistance of epsTECH, EPS, steering components can be diagnosed and potentially remanufactured to provide an economical parts solution for automotive aftermarket service applications.

The epsTECH vehicle simulator functions with all EPS racks, columns, and EHPS pumps and works with ECU direct or indirect part types. It recognizes communication dialog between the EPS part and vehicle simulator, detects existing system error codes, and is capable of simulating multiple vehicle operating speeds.
