Magnum Gaskets is introducing its “Big Coverage, Big Quality, Big Value” theme at AAPEX 2015 to highlight its advantages for aftermarket distribution partners.
Magnum said that “Big Coverage” is the best description for its growing product line, now at triple the original number of gasket sets and rapidly approaching the target of 10 times its original SKU count.
“Big Quality” is unquestioned, Magnum said, because its parent company, Modern Silicone Technologies (MSi), has been the leading contract manufacturer for major aftermarket brands and OEMs for more than 20 years. The “Big Value” offered has been proven by case after case of “margin enhancement” for Magnum distributors, the company said.
How has Magnum Gaskets reached a position that merits its new theme?
“Magnum has dramatically expanded its manufacturing capacity and technology base to meet the demand for it’s traditional, performance and diesel engine gaskets,” said Magnum’s Executive Vice President, Alex Grunfeld. “Distributors get all the benefits of sourcing from a major gasket supplier while dealing directly with the manufacturing source. This skips the corporate middle man and ensures control of the quality, availability and cost of Magnum Gaskets.”
Magnum’s rapid expansion includes new product categories for the brand, including full sets, timing cover sets and rear main bearing seal sets, plus individual miscellaneous gaskets in polybags. It offers greatly enlarged coverage in head gaskets and head sets as well as more depth of domestic and import coverage in all categories. This overall SKU expansion follows Magnum’s recent addition of coverage for popular diesel and performance applications.
