The Auto International Association (AIA), a segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), will present, “Import Parts Explosion: Are You Taking Your Fair Share?” as part of the AAPEX Learning Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in The Venetian Hotel, Level 1, Marco Polo Room 704 in Las Vegas, Nev. This session will cover what it takes to be a major player in the import parts arena and will include how to focus on more than just “fast moving” import part numbers and look at “big picture” sales potential, how to better compete with the dealer network in application coverage for vehicles in your market and how to better establish your store(s) as the “go-to” specialist for import part coverage and the “first call” for more repair shop customers.
