Organize your toolbox with Sonic's new SFS Drawer Configurator

The free online tool allows users to design their toolbox setup whether in a Sonic toolbox or otherwise.

Sonic Tools USA has launched the Sonic Foam System (SFS) Drawer Configurator, a free online tool that allows users to design toolbox layouts using 163 SFS foam modules across five sizes — extra-small, small, medium, large, and extra-large. Users can select a toolbox — a Sonic S-Series box or one from another manufacturer — arrange the Sonic SFS modules drawer by drawer with drag-and-drop and rotation functions, and track available drawer space. Configurations can be saved, exported as PDF Build Reports, and used to purchase complete toolbox and foam setups or individual modules. The SFS system uses two-toned, labeled, chemical-resistant foam to identify tool locations and highlight any missing tools.

Sonic reports that independent time studies found SFS users completed toolbox inventories 78 percent faster, reduced misplaced tools by 80 percent, and retrieved and returned tools 20 percent faster.

A word from Sonic Tools

Don Russell, director of marketing for Sonic, explains, “Whether you are new to Sonic Tools or looking to expand your existing toolset, the drawer configurator tool is a resource to either create an entirely new toolset from scratch or to expand upon, or reorganize, an existing toolset as needs and skills grow. Furthermore, the free software enables anyone to optimize their toolset to make the most of the available space in a Sonic Toolbox or practically any other toolbox they have on hand.”
