Klein Tools issued a voluntary recall on its KTB1000 and Blackfire PAC1000 Portable Power Station due to safety hazards.
Roughly 3,800 units are affected and have been sold at industrial distributors and electrical wholesalers nationwide from November 2021 through November 2023.
The internal inverter boards of these two power stations can potentially overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. It's important to note that all versions and date codes of these products are affected by this recall.
Klein Tools will be contacting all known purchasers directly, however, the company can be contacted by calling 800-527-3099 or by visiting kleintools.com or blackfire.com and clicking “Safety Recalls” at the top of the page for more information.
