Mayhew Steel Products, Inc. (Mayhew Tools) announced the expansion of its socket bit product line with the addition of new medium and long-length socket bits, sold individually and as sets.
The extended length of the medium and long socket bits makes these tools ideal for a wide array of applications where longer reach is needed. The medium socket bit assemblies have an OAL of 5.75” and the long socket bit assemblies have an OAL of 7”.
The expanded line of socket bits is available in a wide variety of fastener styles and sizes to accommodate varying applications. Each bit is made with S2 tool steel, a shock-resistant material that can withstand high impact, and is heat treated to provide added strength and durability.
Bit types include Phillips; Torx; SAE Hex; Metric Hex; SAE Ball Hex; Metric Ball Hex; Triple Square; Inverted Torx; and more
Each of the socket bit sets, assembled in the United States with both domestic and global parts, includes a color-coded storage rail that keeps the bits organized, identifiable and ready for use.
Each of the individual sockets are chrome-plated and backed by a lifetime warranty.
