Tenneco Releases Monroe OESpectrum Shock Assembly

Tenneco Inc. has added to its Monroe brand of shocks and struts with the OESpectrum shock and mount assembly. The preassembled part eliminates the need for specialized tools and is designed to simplify the installation process.

Tenneco Inc. has added to its Monroe brand of shocks and struts with the OESpectrum shock and mount assembly. The preassembled part eliminates the need for specialized tools and is designed to simplify the installation process.

The OESpectrum is made of premium preassembled aluminum upper mount, shock, compression bumper and dirt shield. The assembly matches the original equipment design, and has valving technology to decrease noise, vibration and harshness.

The PTFE-banded piston seals for control and durability, and handling is improved too because the valving is tuned specifically to each vehicle while also adjusting to extreme road conditions. The larger bore helps with damping control for greater consistency.
