PIAA Corp. has introduced its line of LED fog and driving lights, called the LP530LED, for the powersports industry.

PIAA said it has introduced new technology that incorporates an LED-compatible reflector and reflector facing LEDs that provide greatly improved lighting and beam control over other LED lights.

Central to the performance of these new lamps is PIAA’s exclusive computer-designed multi-surface reflector which concentrates and focuses the beam pattern more precisely than forward-facing LED lamps. The result is fog and driving lamps that offer the beam control of a halogen lamp, but with much lower power consumption, more compact size, and greater durability.

PIAA’s new 530 series lamps are designed for use on motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, snowmobiles, and for other powersports vehicles. PIAA offers application-specific brackets for several BMW motorcycles, Honda Gold Wing, Triumph Tiger, and the Suzuki V-Strom. Additional brackets for Honda Gold Wing and the Yamaha Super Tenere are in the prototype stage and will be released soon as well.
