Knipex Tools LP has introduced 11-inch extra long needle nose pliers designed for strong and flexible gripping of small pipes, screws and round parts in hard-to-reach areas.

The company says the extra long needle nose pliers feature multiple gripping zones that are perfect for pulling and twisting, making them a versatile multi-use tool for the automotive industry.

Workpieces can be carefully grabbed, held and guided with the four grooves in the jaws of the slim, yet robust, pliers, according to the company. Other features include a serrated gripping area for holding onto round parts or pipes and a slim, extra-long design for limited working space.

The pliers are forged, oil-hardened and tempered from German tool steel with handles that come with a non-slip plastic coating. The extra long needle nose pliers have 2- and 1/4-inch gripping capacity and are available with straight jaws or a 45-degree angled jaw for added versatility.

“What makes our extra long needle nose pliers unique are the four grooves located in the jaws of the pliers that can be used to hold small parts without slippage,” says Todd Shumate, president. “Now mechanics no longer have to worry about scraping their knuckles trying to work on those hard-to-reach parts.”

Knipex Tools LP is the North American sales and marketing organization of Knipex-Werk and is located in Arlington Heights, Ill. Knipex-Werk is based Wuppertal, Germany. For more information, visit www.knipex-tools.com.
