Clore Automotive Inc. has added the Pro-Logix PL2545, a 12-volt 20/10/2A intelligent battery charger with engine start assistance, to its Solar Article line.

Designed to provide continuous operation in a wide variety of professional/industrial battery service environments, the PL2545 combines fully automatic operation using a proprietary multi-phase charging process with the ability to properly charge multiple battery types.

Clore says model PL2545 meets the needs of mechanical repair shops, collision repair facilities, fleet operations, marinas, agricultural operations and consumers.

With three charge rates, model PL2545 can manage lead acid batteries of any size, from small powersport batteries up to Group 31 batteries.

In addition, the PL2545 is three tools in one unit. Clore says the PL2545:

  1. Functions as an advanced automatic battery charger to bring depleted batteries to full charge so that they can be put back into service.
  2. Functions as an advanced automatic battery maintainer, conditioning and maintaining batteries in long term storagecharging situations.
  3. Provides engine starting assistance, quickly energizing a depleted battery sothat the engine can be started.

Clore Automotive designs, develops and manufactures automotive service equipment for professionals and consumers, including jump starters, battery chargers, battery testers, power inverters and LED lighting solutions.
