CRP Automotive is offering Rein Automotive starter bolt kits for a wide variety of BMW vehicles equipped with N51/N52 engines.
Rein BMW starter bolts are designed to ensure that the starter is properly grounded. Unlike some aftermarket bolts, which are coated, Rein BMW starter bolts are supplied uncoated. The absence of a coating on the aluminum, torque-to-yield bolts helps guarantee proper grounding.
“BMW N51/N52 engines use torque-to-yield aluminum bolts to secure the starter to the engine and as the starter ages and fails, the bolts need to be replaced with the starter,” explains Alex Ragucci, CRP automotive brand manager. “However, it’s important that when replacing the bolts, technicians must make sure the bolt is not coated. A coated bolt could create a no-start scenario caused by an improper grounding of the starter.”
Rein Automotive starter bolts are produced by an OE manufacturer to ensure proper fit and performance. They are available for 2006-2013 BMW models including 128I, 323I, 325I, 325XI, 328I, 328XI, 330I, 330XI, 335I, 335XI, 525I, 525XI, 528I, 528XI, 530I, 530XI, X3, X5, and Z4.
