Leeds West Groups (LWG) has entered the New Mexico Big O Tires market with the purchase of Keith Blake, Michael Pryor, Mitch Beranek, and Scott Koldenhoven’s New Mexico locations.
This is LWG’s 17th U.S. state with franchise aftermarket automotive repair locations and 3rd Big O Tires State specifically. The six-store acquisition marks LWG’s 14th new Big O Tires location added into the LWG portfolio within the last 80 days. With the addition of the New Mexico Market, this increases LWG’s Big O Tires store holdings to 23 locations in the brand specifically with 102 locations nationwide, and now over 950 team members collectively across all three (Midas Auto Service Experts, Speedee Oil, and Big O Tires) franchise automotive divisions.

“Entering into the New Mexico market was a no brainer for LWG. It allows us to build out the states surrounding Colorado continuing to create consolidation and large expansion opportunities for us along the I-25 corridor and the Mid-West region. We are also committed to shifting our acquisition focus to larger scale growth opportunities, and this deal aligns perfectly with our growth objectives and operational strengths under our COO Derek Wessels and Big
O Division Vice President James Gould. We look forward to filling in the Colorado to New Mexico corridor, along with our expected fast paced growth in the mid-west region,” said Judd Kyle Shader, CEO/Board of Directors Member.

Big O Tires New Mexico will operate under the controls of James Gould Vice President of LWG Big O Tires Division and Derek Wessels Chief Operating Officer of LWG Automotive Divisions.

“I am very excited about the New Mexico Big O Tires market and expanding what my team has done in Colorado
now down the I-25 corridor. This is a great opportunity for my team to learn and continue to create great scalability with increased career paths for our team members into even more locations,” said James Gould, Vice President of LWG Big O Tires Division.

LWG has assumed all ownership and control of these locations effective Tuesday, October 1.
