OTC releases new exhaust manifold stud remover designed for secure grip

OTC has introduced a new exhaust manifold stud remover, the 6982PMC Professional Mechanics Collet.

OTC has introduced a new exhaust manifold stud remover, the 6982PMC Professional Mechanics Collet. The stud remover works on threaded studs with as little as ¼” exposed, ideal for gripping a small amount of metal to remove broken or frozen manifold studs. The kit is covered by a lifetime warranty and is available now in North America.

The OTC 6982PMC collets can securely grasp broken, frozen or corroded exhaust manifold studs. The tool includes collets in 6mm, 7mm, 8mm and 10 mm sizes to remove a number of broken bolts or studs. The collets tighten within 1/16" of the head surface to greatly reduce tipping. The new OTC 6982PMC is available now through mobile tool trucks, warehouse distributors and other OTC resellers.
