VIP Tires & Service, a full-service automotive repair, maintenance and tire shop with 58 locations in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, and Massachusetts, announced that its new West Lebanon store is donating $6,070 to local Lebanon area schools. The funds were raised through the VIP West Lebanon store’s Oil Changes for Education initiative, which launched during its grand opening celebration in August and concluded on October 31, 2018. The West Lebanon VIP store offered consumers $10 oil changes with 100% of the proceeds going to the local school community.
Lebanon School District Superintendent Joanne Roberts and Hartford School District Superintendent Thomas Debalsi visited the VIP West Lebanon store on November 28, 2018, for a check presentation ceremony.   During the six-week Oil Changes for Education effort at the VIP West Lebanon store, located at 38 Railroad Avenue in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, 607 consumers stopped in for $10 oil changes, which VIP turned into $6,070 for local schools. These funds will be split evenly between the Lebanon and Hartford School districts with each district receiving $3,035 to help support curriculum and school activity needs. Prior to opening its West Lebanon store in August 2018, VIP extensively renovated the former City Tire facility to bring it up to the company’s rigorous technical and customer service standards and hired 7 local highly-qualified technicians and store managers. VIP’s new West Lebanon store boasts 3,200 square feet and 6 full bays, plus on-site storage for more than 1,500 tires, which will allow the company to provide its customers prompt and unbeatable customer service. Like all other VIP Tire & Service locations, this new facility is a full-service automotive repair, maintenance and tire shop offering everything from brake repair, preventative maintenance, muffler and exhaust repair, multi-point vehicle inspections, wheel alignments, state inspections and oil changes. “Finding a way to get involved in the local community is important to every VIP employee in our new West Lebanon store and to every employee in our company,” said West Lebanon Store Manager Jeremy Weigel. “Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are as a company. This program has been wonderful and has allowed us to meet so many local residents. We want to thank everyone who visited us for a $10 oil change in support of our local schools and our children and hope they will keep coming back to VIP for all their car service needs.”About VIP Tires & Service VIP Tires & Service, a Quirk family-owned business for 93 years based in Auburn, Maine, operates 58 locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts providing retail and wholesale tires and installation, and professional automotive services.
