Wirthco Engineering of Minneapolis has simplified the process of adding accessories and components to your automotive electrical system with their line of Battery Doctor battery bolts and taps.

The battery bolts allow for an easy and reliable direct connection to the battery. The studs accommodate one or several 3/8-inch ring terminals to be connected. Wirthco says this is an excellent solution for adding any accessory that requires direct power. Direct to battery circuits help reduce noise in stereos, communication and other electronic equipment.

There are four styles to choose from, all constructed from solid brass, three for side terminals and one for top terminals. The Battery Doctor patented terminal/ground taps are also available for top or side post battery terminals.

The special shape of the side terminal tap allows for optimal attachment directly to the battery and provides a simple and reliable connection of accessory ground leads. Up to three .25-inch quick connect terminals can be installed on each triple tap. The side terminal taps can be stacked to provide extra connection points in one location. The top terminal tap attaches to the battery cable clamp without having to remove the bolt. It incorporates one #8 hole for optional use as a frame ground. Just like the battery bolts, the terminal taps are made from solid brass.
