Import Vehicle Community offers leadership scholarship from University of the Aftermarket Foundation
The Import Vehicle Community, a segment community of the Auto Care Association, is offering a full scholarship presented by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation for one of its members to attend the University of the Aftermarket’s 2017-2018 Leadership 2.0 Program. The scholarship is valued at more than $6,000.
Leadership 2.0 is the industry's cornerstone educational program that fosters the development of a new generation of visionary aftermarket executives. The program is an intense and intellectually challenging two-week executive development and learning experience deeply rooted in the theoretical and practical application of automotive aftermarket leadership principles.
The program is appropriate for any mid-level professional working in any market segment within the auto care industry.
“This is an incredible industry-specific opportunity for you or a member of your team to invest in advancing your career, developing leadership skills and keeping pace with industry trends,” said Ira Davis, chairman, Import Vehicle Community. “A well-trained and well-educated team benefits both employers and employees and significantly contributes to an organization’s success.”
Graduates of the program receive 7.0 CEUs toward their AAP and MAAP designations. Session I will be held Aug. 6-11, 2017 at the Northwood University campus in Midland, Mich. Session II will be held March 11-16, 2018 in Raleigh, N.C. Applicants must have a minimum of two consecutive years of relevant work experience in the auto care industry and be employed at an Auto Care Association and Import Vehicle Community member company in good standing. Applicants must be available to attend both sessions and are responsible for travel costs to and from both sessions.
An application and full criteria of all materials needed for consideration can be found at http://www.autocare.org/import-vehicle-community/scholarship. The deadline to apply is April 17, 2017.
