Timken presents representative of the year, manufacturer’s rep agency of the year awards

Timken honored Randy Childers of N.A. Williams Company, recognizing him as the 2016 Representative of the Year. Childers is a territory manager who represents the Timken product line in the Carolinas.

The Timken Company, a global leader in bearings and mechanical power transmission products, announced its 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturers’ Representative Awards during Automotive Industry Aftermarket Week. Timken presented the awards to the winners at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.

Timken honored Randy Childers of N.A. Williams Company, recognizing him as the 2016 Representative of the Year. Childers, a territory manager who represents the Timken product line in the Carolinas, resides in Spartanburg, S.C.

“Randy has embraced what it means to represent Timken,” said Brett Blauner, Timken national sales manager for the automotive aftermarket. “His commitment to learning the Timken product line and delivering our value proposition effectively makes him a real asset. He excels in promoting the Timken brand and executes well on our corporate sales strategy to maintain strong relationships and effectively grow our business.”

Timken recognized Connolly Sales & Marketing as its 2016 Manufacturers’ Representative Agency of the Year based on the agency’s professionalism in representing Timken, excellence in onboarding new customers and high level of customer service, helping to ensure both companies’ long-term success.

Connolly Sales & Marketing (CSM), headquartered in Mendon, N.Y., serves the Northeast region. The CSM team was instrumental in helping Timken grow in 2016 through their commitment to work effectively with warehouse distributors, with a particular focus on professional installers, as well as represent the Timken brand well throughout their markets.

“Through hard work, excellent field support, investment in technology and a level of customer service, CSM continues to thrive in a challenging climate,” explained Blauner. “Their energetic approach to business allows them to continue to grow with Timken.”
