At booth #331 in the Longhorn Exhibit Hall, Autologic will showcase its newly released Autologic Assist fix and support system. Autologic Assist, the first and only cloud-based, fully integrated automotive diagnostics support solution of its kind, is designed to serve the needs of aftermarket repair shops, particularly those focused on complex European cars.
Autologic and WORLDPAC recently announced a distribution agreement under which WORLDPAC offers Autologic Assist directly to its North American customers through its Tools and Equipment Services (TES) division.
During the show, Autologic will also feature demonstrations of the functionality of its newly released mobile app, AssistMobile. AssistMobile affords users the ability to enter fault codes and ways to assess repairs, along with one-touch tech support contact, all from one’s mobile device. Additionally, some of the standard functionality found on most smartphones today, such as camera capability and flashlight accessibility, present additional benefits when using AssistMobile. A key feature of the new AssistMobile is its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) barcode scan capability, which allows users to scan a VIN barcode with the integrated camera on their smartphone. Once captured, the app automatically records the VIN and takes users to the next prompt screen to input additional vehicle details. This dramatically expedites the entire diagnostic and repair process. Furthermore, the app helps leverage the overall Assist capabilities throughout any repair shop. Using the AssistMobile app for diagnosis and communication to tech support also then frees up the AssistPlus device for another colleague to use. This maximizes the costs, efficiencies and productivity.
Autologic Assist consists of a suite of capabilities that joins data resources and superior diagnostic tools together on a device with multiple screens. Autologic Assist combines these features with real-time access to a team of master technicians simultaneously, integrating knowledge and service from experts that possess significant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience with innovative software and a multi-functional device. Autologic Assist helps ensure vehicle issues are diagnosed correctly the first time. This results in both time savings and cost benefits for the repair shops with whom Autologic works. In fact, repair shop owners report that they have seen their daily car count rise by as much as 25%, increasing annual revenues by over $100,000.
“As a partner with WORLDPAC, we are pleased to be invited to exhibit at this expo where we will be amongst more than 100 industry-related players who share this privilege. As the only cloud-connected vehicle diagnostic solution available in the marketplace today, we are confident that the industry will take an interest in the way we have combined a device, software and third-party data with a team of 100+ expert technical professionals that can truly diagnose and fix European cars quickly and efficiently. Users are seeing firsthand improvement in productivity, increased financial benefit and more satisfied customers,” said Jeremy Fry, chief executive officer of Autologic. “We look forward to sharing our platform with this pertinent audience at the upcoming WORLDPAC STX Supplier and Training Expo.”
