Matt Kenseth dominated the Sept. 13 NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series Race in Richmond, leading 352 of the 400 laps as he drove his Bosch-equipped No. 20 Dollar General Toyota to his fourth victory of the season. In recognition of the victory, Bosch Aftermarket NA is making its fourth $1,000 contribution to Motor Racing Outreach. To-date this season, Bosch has contributed a total of $12,000 to the charities of Joe Gibbs Racing’s drivers.

Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) works to support the motorsport community so that they may enjoy a more wholesome life together, and in turn, become good role models for millions of motorsport fans around the world. Originally founded in 1988 to serve the NASCAR Sprint Cup racing community, MRO has evolved over the years to serve other forms of motorsports such as motorcycle and powerboat racing.  A faith-based organization, MRO’s mission includes introducing the racing community to a personal faith in Christ, encouraging active involvement in the church, understanding God’s Word and assisting in the development of leadership skills.

“It was impressive watching Joe Gibbs Racing dominate in Richmond as they have all summer long,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America. “Bosch congratulates Matt Kenseth on his latest triumph and the entire Joe Gibbs Racing organization on an incredible season.  We’re proud to partner with Joe Gibbs Racing, providing teams with the Bosch parts and systems that propel them to victory time and time again.”

Bosch Aftermarket has a long-standing partnership with NASCAR, providing oxygen sensors to all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams. Additionally, Bosch has provided quality parts — including spark plugs, injectors, alternators, coils, filters, fuel pumps, starters and pressure regulators — to multiple NASCAR teams for more than a decade, helping them to scores of wins and seven Sprint Cup Series championships since 2001.

Thus far in the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, Bosch-supported teams have won twenty-two races, garnering a total Bosch Aftermarket NA contribution of $22,000 to help their respective charities carry out their missions.
