The trademark was pursued to serve as additional branding to the KYB family of products in the North American aftermarket.  KYB has a long history as one of the largest manufacturers of original equipment shocks and struts.  This trademarked logo represents KYB’s commitment to incorporate the same manufacturing principles and quality into our aftermarket products as we do for our OEM products.

“At KYB, manufacturing the very best products for our customers is at the heart of what we do,” said KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito.  “We believe the Original Equipment Shocks and Struts for the Aftermarket trademark better defines KYB's product strategy and provides our customers with a distinct advantage in the ride control market.”

KYB Corporation is a $4.2 billion global hydraulics manufacturer with over 8,100 employees and sells its products in over 100 countries. The company is the world’s largest supplier of shocks and struts to vehicle manufacturers and has a full range of domestic and import shocks and struts for the aftermarket.
