Honeywell Friction Materials, maker of Bendix® brake products, has recently announced that Scott Manno, a technician with Mark Muffler in Edwardsville, Ill., is the grand prize winner of its “Staged for Spring” promotion.

The promotion, which ran from March 1 through April 30, was created to generate excitement and sales incentives for the brand by rewarding professional technicians that installed qualifying Bendix premium disc brake pads or shoes.  

Manno, who has been installing Bendix brake pads for more than 30 years, won a VIP trip for two to Sonoma, Calif., for the FRAM® Autolite® NHRA® Nationals. He and a guest enjoyed round trip airfare, three nights’ hotel accommodations at a luxury resort in Napa Valley, weekend passes to the FRAM/Autolite Nationals with daily hospitality as well as a gift card to cover incidental purchases and meals. He also received a once in a lifetime opportunity to join officials at the starting line and watched top fuel driver Cory McClenathan and his opponent race during the qualifying rounds on Saturday, Honeywell reports.
