JB Industries, a manufacturer of American-made HVAC/R tools and equipment, announced their DDA Silver Award-Winning (Hand Tools Category) Valve Core Removal Tool with Slide Valve Side Port designed for faster evacuation and charging.

The A32525SV is a valve core removal tool that utilizes an additional slide valve on the side port to easily attach and isolate a micron or vacuum gauge. This tool swaps out damaged valve cores under pressurized HVAC/R systems. It also removes valve cores for much faster evacuation.

“The most important new feature by far is the slide valve on the side port of the A32525SV,” said David Madden, director of manufacturing at JB Industries. “This allows for the safe removal of the micron gauge without letting air inside the system and preventing the risk of refrigerant damaging the micron gauge.”

The main ball valve handle was switched from a traditional 90-degree turn to a handle that is now actuated in-line with the valve. This allows the HVAC/R technician to open and close the valve in tight areas with a single finger. This new design is made of solid brass construction with the tip machined from A2 tool steel extending the product for life. A series of o-rings help the tool stay sealed and not leak during evacuation. The Valve Core Removal Tool with Slide Valve Side Port is vacuum rated and is also offered in style number A32525ST that automatically sets torque to 3-5 in-lbs.
