Prestolite Electric has received the Navistar Diamond Supplier Award in recognition of the Novi-based manufacturer’s excellence in product quality, technology, delivery, customer service support and additional performance categories. Prestolite Electric, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-output alternators for OE and the aftermarket, has earned the distinction for the second consecutive year.

Only 35 Diamond Supplier Awards were presented this year. Chosen annually for recognition by the OEM, the Diamond Supplier Award represents just the top two percent of its supply base and recognizes suppliers from around the world.
Prestolite’s family of Leece-Neville IdlePro and IdlePro Extreme heavy duty alternators are standard position on International HX series severe duty trucks, IC Bus CE series school buses, International LT Series trucks, International RH regional haul series trucks and Durastar trucks, according to the company.
