Kinetic opens AI-enabled service hubs across LA and Phoenix

Technicians in the Kinetic Hubs use proprietary AI, computer vision, and advanced robotics to diagnose, calibrate, and digitally program ADAS-equipped vehicles.

Kinetic has announced the opening of two Kinetic Hubs in Phoenix, the company's first entry into Arizona, and its first Kinetic Hub in Los Angeles. These three facilities will support auto body shops and service centers across Arizona and Southern California with precision appraisal, diagnostics, programming, and calibration services for vehicles equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) as well as for emerging autonomous vehicle platforms.

Today's modern vehicles are increasingly complex, with features such as automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, and other sensors that require precise diagnosis and calibration after repairs. It's imperative that repair infrastructure keeps pace with this evolution.

California and Arizona remain key markets for autonomous vehicle deployment testing.

Kinetic's first Phoenix Hub is a 6,000 sq. ft. facility in Deer Valley that serves multiple Fix Auto shops in the area. The second hub in Phoenix is an 8,600 sq. ft. facility serving dealerships and shops in the Tempe area. The new 8,000 sq. ft. Kinetic Hub in Inglewood in Los Angeles County is supporting customers including Chilton Auto Body and Centure 1st Auto Body & Paint. The Ingelwood Hub serves surrounding communities including Hawthorne, Westchester, El Segundo, Lennox, Playa del Rey, Manhattan Beach, and Del Aire.

At Kinetic Hubs, certified technicians leverage proprietary AI, computer vision, and advanced robotics to diagnose, calibrate, and digitally program ADAS-equipped vehicles. Each facility uses Kinetic Vision, an AI-powered imaging system that generates fast, accurate repair estimates, and Kinetic ID, which identifies calibration needs following a collision. Kinetic's AI powers the company's connected infrastructure network, driving accuracy, and efficiency across the repair process.

Kinetic's network of robotics-enabled hubs now spans 11 locations across California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.

A word from Kinetic

“ADAS vehicles are the near-term reality and autonomous vehicles are the long-term destination,” said Nikhil Naikal, CEO and co-founder of Kinetic. “Both require a new level of precision and intelligence in maintenance and repair services. As we expand our network of Kinetic Hubs across Arizona and Southern California, we are building the infrastructure needed to support the vehicles on the road today while preparing the automotive industry for the autonomous fleets of tomorrow.”
