Aaron Becker, president of AirSept, has been reelected by the Mobile Air Climate Systems Association (MACS) executive committee to a second term as chairman at the association's 2026 Annual Conference.

In addition to his board duties, Becker is the president of AirSept and has been in the mobile HVAC industry for 30 years and served as a MACS member for 26 years. Additionally, he also serves on multiple SAE committees and has had experience collaborating with OE engineeres, manufacturers, and distributors.

In 2025, MACS extended its in-person and virtual MVAC systems training programs to ensure that technicians were current with new refrigerants and vehicle technologies.

The MACS board of directors guides the MACS association on education, awards, virtual, and in-person training, meetings, and all aspects of membership solicitation and benefits.

AirSept is a manufacturer of automotive solutions for complex repair problems from MVAC systems, including Smart Splice line connectors, Recycle Guard, and most recently, Refrigerant Port Adaptors for retrofitting to new, Low-GWP refrigerants now available on the market.

A word from MACS

“Significant global changes are underway with the phase-down of legacy refrigerants,” said Becker. “It is critical that technicians understand how to safely and effectively service systems using next-generation refrigerants. MACS continues to lead by updating training materials and expanding education around EV climate systems and advanced thermal management.”

"As we look ahead, the Board is focused on strengthening collaboration with automotive manufacturers, thermal system component suppliers, and the aftermarket,” Becker added. “This increased engagement ensures MACS delivers the most current, relevant information to technicians and service shops, further enhancing the value of our training and membership.”

MACS Executive Director, Megan Capie, says, “Aaron is committed to advancing education and innovation and brings a unique perspective to the Board with his extensive hands-on experience. The Board was in full support of Aaron taking the reins as the chair for another year.”
