The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced the inaugral "Boss of the Toss" Charity Cornhole Tournament and Tailgate Reception, an industry event designed to bring together the aftermarket community and support families in need.

Attendees can team up with a partner or simply attend and observe the teams. The event will feature competitive cornhole, an open bar, food, a DJ, and live broadcasts of major sporting events. Attendees will have the chance to network with fellow industry professionals as well.

This event is set to take place November 1 at the Venetian Hotel in their Casanova Ballroom. Pre-registration is required. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the University of the Aftermarket and their programs, supporting education and training initiatives within the industry. This event is open to all industry professionals and is extended to AWDA members and their suppliers.

In their announcement, AACF extended a special thank you to AWDA, their Premier Sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for interested companies.

What people are saying

“The AACF has a long history of helping industry professionals in need, and never has it been more important than the last few years with weather disasters and wildfires, said Ted Hughes, AWDA Executive Director. AWDA Members have benefitted from the work of AACF, and now is the best time to support their efforts in this cause. I am proud of the AWDA membership for stepping up in a big way.”

John Kairys, AACF Executive Director, added: “The Boss of the Toss is more than just a game, it’s an opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and make a real difference for families in the aftermarket industry. We’re also excited to welcome industry members who may not be able to attend our annual golf tournament, giving everyone a chance to join in this first-of-its-kind event.”
