Coats announced a new series of upgrades to its Maxx Tire Changer line, including a digital air gauge and redesigned air chuck, based on direct user feedback and rigorous testing.

The digital air gauge replaces the traditional analog display with a brighter, easier-to-read measurement system. The new air chuck provides improved ergonomics and an enhanced attachment to the valve stem, minimizing the risk of air leaks and reducing the potential for operator strain. The upgrades will come standard on Maxx 80 and Maxx 90 tire changer models.

What people are saying

Vice President of Commercial for Coats Ben Pryor said, “Technicians deserve equipment that makes their work easier and more accurate. With the digital air gauge and the newly engineered air chuck, we’re not just improving convenience — we’re adding meaningful upgrades that continue our longstanding tradition of safety and reliability in every tire-changing task. These features build on the foundation of our Maxx tire changers, which are known for their durability and performance, and they showcase our commitment to continuous improvement based on real-world feedback.”

Kyle Harris, senior product manager for Coats, said, "At Coats, we don't release upgrades for the sake of it. Every improvement we make is backed by extensive testing and built to address real challenges faced by technicians. The Maxx tire changers are built for durability, but they're also designed with the user in mind — and these upgrades are a testament to that philosophy."
