Innova Electronics announced that AutoAuth and Stellantis authorized Innova to enable SDS43 Inspector scan tool users to access the Secure Gateway (SGW) to perform enhanced functions on 2018 and newer Chrysler, RAM, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles.
Some recent vehicle models have come with an SGW module integrated into the vehicle's network to secure on-board communications. SGW implementation restricts certain functions, such as erasing OEM DTCs and OEM special functions. The Innova SDS43 is compatible with RepairSolutionsPRO and allows users to unlock the SGW to further diagnose and repair the latest Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, and RAM models.
The RSPRO companion app is used to pass information between AutoAuth and Chrysler's servers, which requires Wi-Fi and internet access. To unlock vehicles with FCA Secure Gateway Module protections, SDS43 users need to update to the latest firmware (V23.07.22 or higher) and set up an account with AutoAuth.
