The Association of North American Tool Suppliers (NATS) held its annual 3-day spring conference at the end of May. The conference was well attended by both the association's members and vendors. They were able to have 25 of their vendors make presentations to the entire group. However, next year they are considering adding another day to the conference to accommodate more vendor presentations.
Two awards were handed out to vendors for their outstanding support of the group. Mastercool and Surewerx were the recipients this year. Additionally, the always-anticipated Monday night event was an adventure in racing followed by a group gathering for a great meal at Fornos of Spain.
NATS was formed 13 years ago with seven charter members and at the time, represented 16 vendors. Now, the association has 17 charter members encompassing 34 total locations and represents over 70 top-level manufacturers. The NATS organizational goal has always been to make it simpler for members and vendors to work together for the mutual benefit of both parties involved.
