Chevy Says Don’t Add This System

This bulletin applies to 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette models. A customer may inquire if Chevrolet’s dual mode performance exhaust system (OEM option code RPO NPP) can be added to a Stingray that was originally produced without the option.

This bulletin applies to 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette models. A customer may inquire if Chevrolet’s dual mode performance exhaust system (OEM option code RPO NPP) can be added to a Stingray that was originally produced without the option. 

According to Chevy, DO NOT attempt to add this system to a vehicle that was not manufactured with it. General Motors does not support the software changes that are required.
