This bulletin applies to 2011-2014 Kia Soul and Soul EV vehicles. When replacing the transmission inhibitor switch, be sure to use the inhibitor switch guide pin when installing the switch’s manual control lever.

This special service tool holds the lever in proper position when tightening the manual lever’s retaining nut and shift cable retaining nut.

DO NOT use power tools, as over-tightening the nuts may damage the transmission. Refer to nut torque specifications in the service manual.
