HTS Tire Inflation Tool

The Coats HTS Tire Inflation Tool is a patent-pending device designed to inject a large volume of air rapidly through the valve stem hole to seal run-flat and low-profile tire assemblies, without any manual manipulation of the tire. According to the company, as run-flat and low-profile tires become more common, the gap that typically exists between the outboard tire bead and rim is reduced or non-existent, creating the need for a device that introduces a large volume of inflation air quickly. This device was co-developed between Coats and Discount Tire, with input from leading tire manufacturers. This tool is designed to reduce a 20 to 30 minute job of sealing these tire assemblies down to three minutes. This tool is available in a stand-alone mobile version or an integrated version for all Coats rim clamp tire changers.
