Continental now offers a comprehensive line of VDO blower motors for direct replacement on modern utility vans.

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, a leading and trusted aftermarket supplier of OE-engineered aftermarket parts for HVAC and engine cooling, door systems, brake systems, tire pressure monitoring systems, engine management, fuel systems and instrumentation, now offers a comprehensive line of VDO blower motors for direct replacement on modern utility vans.

Continental is a supplier to all the major OE van manufacturers and is able to bring its state-of-the-art manufacturing experience to the automotive service market with the VDO brand. The VDO HVAC system blower motors line offers exceptional model coverage for Chevrolet City Express, Dodge / Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ford Transit Connect, Nissan NV 1500/2500/3500, Nissan NV200, Nissan NV Taxi, Ram ProMaster and Ram ProMaster City. In addition to the HVAC system blower motors, VDO OE replacement parts are also available for power door lock actuator applications.

As VDO Electric Motor Product Manager Rick Wagner notes, “Today’s venerable utility work van is no longer just a box on wheels. It’s a cargo hauler, people mover, favorite mobile lunch stop and even an office on the go. Evolving from its utilitarian features, the modern van now sports new aerodynamic body styling for increased fuel efficiency and interior appointments that can run from the basics to full luxury. This evolution has dramatically increased the use of electric motor systems and is now creating a rising service demand and an excellent opportunity for parts sales and profitability. Our VDO program is designed to satisfy that demand with the same high quality Continental delivers at the OEM level.”

All VDO motors incorporate the exact electrical connectors required by the specific vehicle application. There are no flying leads that require splicing. VDO mounting flanges and ventilation tubes are in the same position and configuration as the factory units.
