Motor Guard develops Magna-Cutter for cutting aluminum

Nov. 11, 2016
Motor Guard has developed Magna-Cutter, an abrasive cut-off wheel for cutting aluminum.

Motor Guard has developed a resin-bonded abrasive cut-off wheel specifically designed for cutting automotive aluminum body panels and structural components. Available in 3” and 4” diameters, these type one wheels are made of the high quality abrasives and materials.

Aluminum presents special challenges to the automotive body repair technician, as traditional methods of cutting with standard abrasive wheels are not possible. Motor Guard’s Magna-Cutter abrasive cut-off wheel has been specially formulated to cut aluminum fast, cool and clean with no loading.

An additional feature of Motor Guard’s new cut-off wheels is that, unlike standard wheels, they contain no ferrous materials, ensuring contaminant-free cutting of aluminum body panels and structural components.
