Sunny DeWakar, CEO of NGV Motori, USA and Dean Sloane, Founder and Managing Director of Clean Vehicle Solutions, LLC (CVS), issued a statement announcing their joint collaboration to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding demand for vehicles powered by CNG.
The companies have already partnered together to successfully engineer, fabricate and install the first EPA-certified, dedicated diesel to CNG conversion package for the Mercedes 906 Engine.Conversions may be done on any of the Diesel MBE 900 series models with the F 65 series Detroit Diesel engine for model years 2003 - 2009. NGV Motori, USA and CVS also announced that the NGV Motori, USA/CVS's partnership is also making available an EPA-certified, CNG Dedicated Conversion for the Ford E 450 Super duty 6.8L V10 engine and the E350 Super Duty 5.4L gas engine. Models created between 2005 thru 2010 are eligible for conversion.
This collaboration between NGV Motori, the pioneer in CNG technology and systems development for more than 30 years, and CVS, a leader in end-to end CNG vehicle and fueling solutions, positions the two companies to lead in a rapid expansion of both the light- and heavy-duty CNG vehicle markets in the United States. Matteo Fontanesi, Senior Engineer for NGV Motori, USA stated "We have worked with the team at CVS extensively and we look forward to future collaborations providing the technology, system development, fabrication and support of a full-line of CNG vehicles, as we move forward together."
In the joint statement issued earlier this month, Sunny DeWakar, CEO Of NGV Motori, USA said "CVS brings tremendous qualifications, experience and innovation to the market, and we were pleased to enter into this close working partnership with them, to provide our CNG packages to the marketplace. We are very selective in who are partners are, and CVS is extremely well positioned to not only provide superior support and conversion services, but their ability to integrate fueling solutions into their programs has resulted in our partnership being able to put more vehicles on the road, more quickly, and with the infrastructure in place to support them."
NGV Motori, USA and CVS are continuing their collaboration/partnership in bringing more systems for more engines to the US Market. According to DeWakar: "This initial collaboration between our two companies is only the beginning. We fully expect NGV Motori, USA and CVS to lead the industry in a full-spectrum of CNG vehicle services well into the future."
Dean Sloane agrees. "We are extremely pleased with this first step and look forward to expanding NGV Motori and CVS collaboration and partnership to build a national presence. Fleets across the country, using these conversion systems are already coming out of our fabrication and production facilities and CVS is spearheading the development of private and public fueling infrastructure."
Together, the companies will provide an extremely competitive one-stop source for complete CNG fleet solutions. Both Sloane and DeWaker are gratified by the progress their companies are making.
