Ohio repair shop president testifies on behalf of shop licensing bill

Senate Bill 232 would require auto repair shops to become licensed in the state of Ohio.

Andy Fiffick, president of Rad Air Complete Car Care & Tire Center, an automotive aftermarket repair shop in Columbus, Ohio, testified on behalf of Senate Bill 232 earlier this week.

The bill proposes Ohio-based repair shops have a license from the state as a consumer protection measure to cover proper warranties and proper hazardous material disposal for shops.
