Wholesale used car prices fall for third straight month

First quarter unit sales for used cars increased in the first quarter.

Wholesale used vehicle prices fell in March, the third consecutive monthly decline, and it brought the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index reading to 120.4, which was 4.6 percent lower than a year ago, according to Manheim. The report also noted retail used car unit sales increased in the first quarter. Read more about the March 2013 Manheim used car index.
