Wingfoot Commercial Tire opens new truck care center

Wingfoot Commercial Tire has continued its on-highway expansion by opening a truck care center in Kenly, N.C.

The new service center in Kenly is located at 1810 Princeton-Kenly Road on Interstate 95, exit 106, on the Flying J property. The truck care center provides trucking fleets with preventative maintenance service, including oil changes, and light mechanical service, such as brake, electrical, and heating/air conditioning repairs. In addition, the center offers new and retreaded tires, along with 24/7 roadside assistance to get trucks back on the road quickly, reducing downtime.

“Kenly is the third Wingfoot Truck Care Center located on I-95 between Florida and Virginia. We have been listening to our customers and are strategically locating facilities to better serve their needs,” said Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations.

“We plan to continue our expansion across the United States, making our services, products, and information available in more locations,” Schrock said.

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, operates more than 140 commercial tire sales, service, and retread facilities nationwide. With this new addition, Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems has 36 on-highway Truck Care Centers operating in 15 states.
